Daniel Fast Tomato Risotto

INGREDIENTS

Steps

  1. Blend San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes or buy a can of crushed tomatoes, salt, season, and place the blend in a small pot and keep it on warm until you need it.

  2. Saute garlic and onion in a frying pan until golden

  3. Add the cooked brown rice

  4. One ladle at a time, add the tomato broth and mix it into the rice on medium heat, slowly. Mix continuously.

  5. As the liquid evaporates, add another ladle. One by one.

  6. When the broth is exhausted, add the butter and shut the heat off. Stir the butter in and any extra spices/seasonings.

  7. Place on a plate and garnish with good quality olive oil and basil leaves

  8. Enjoy!

  • 1.5 cups crushed tomato

  • olive oil

  • garlic

  • onion

  • cooked brown rice

  • 2 tbsp plant butter

  • salt to taste
